Mission Statement:
Without substantial prior experience in the insurance claim industry, homeowners and business owners alike struggle to achieve a fair claim settlement from their insurance company following a large loss. And, once a claim has been settled, policyholders usually have little to no prior experience interviewing, selecting and directing the proper specialty contractor that will be repairing or replacing damaged real property, or how to set about repairing or replacing business or personal property, inventory, etc.
With our extensive industry experience, our mission is to provide the best path forward to our client (the policyholder), and together, find our way to the most favorable claim outcome.
Guy Anthony's Extensive Industry Background:
From 1988 to 2021, Guy Anthony's primary and sole focus was the handling of large losses, representing the interests of insurance companies as either their staff adjuster or as their independent field adjuster. During this time, Guy Anthony helped over 3000 homeowners and business owners alike recover after sustaining a large loss to their home, business, personal belongings, business property, and/or loss of business income.
Guy Anthony's main focus "slowly" transitioned from the financial interests of the insurance company to representing only the financial interests of our clients, the policyholder. Today, Guy Anthony's Arizona-based public adjusting firm has expanded to include both California and Nevada.
So, here's my message, backed by 35 years' experience in the claims industry as an insurance company staff adjuster, an independent field adjuster, and now, as your public adjuster: "Don't accept the insurance company's initial settlement. Most Insurance companies fail to pay what is truly owed without our intervention, knowledge and experienced representation. We will analyze your claim for free. We strive to help those clients who need our services most, as our mission is to help clients that are struggling with their insurance carrier. For those clients we do take on, and with our vast claim-handling experience, you WILL receive, on average, 75% to 100% more than you would otherwise get if you attempted to navigate through your claim on your own."
My most recent gripe with insurance companies are those companies that make the insured "incur" their ALE expenses up front, on their own credit card, in hopes of being reimbursed weeks or months later by a reluctant insurance adjuster. C'mon insurance companies .... you're embarrassing yourselves with this poor service. Even companies I previously respected are resorting to this tactic, because they know their policyholder won't and/or can't incur ALE charges if they have to put down their own credit card for that initial hotel stay.
* A business owner hires a CPA to prepare and present his/her taxes to the IRS.
* A severely injured party hires an attorney to present his/her injury claim against the opposing negligent third-party.
* Likewise, a policyholder needs an insurance claim professional representing their financial interests following a large property loss.
