2022 Time and Expense Fees
** TIME **:
Given the focus and nature of the complex claims assigned to our offices, we necessarily base our service fees on a time & expense basis. Our sliding rate fee schedule is based upon the complexity of the claim itself.
Any of our field adjusters, all of which have a minimum of ten years' experience, can handle the most difficult claim you can throw at us. If the file is a normal, daily type of mid-loss or large-loss claim, our field adjuster will be charging our General Adjuster (GA) rate to handle your assignment. If there are complexities that require a higher skill set, the T&E fee will be based upon our Senior General Adjuster (SGA) rate. If the file requires the highest adjusting skill set, the Field Adjuster uses our Executive General Adjuster (EGA) rate. Finally, our Senior Executive General Adjuster (SEGA) rate is charged for such activities as appraisals, Umpire Nominations, Mediations, Expert Testimony, In-House File Auditing, etc. Definitions and rates for each category are outlined below.
Initial File Set-Up Fee: $50
(GA): $85/hour, plus incurred expense. Non-represented insured, building exposure is under $50,000, and no unusual circumstances exist.
(SGA): $100/hour, plus incurred expense. The insured is represented or building exposure is between $50,000 to $150,000 or unusual circumstances exist.
(EGA): $115/hour, plus incurred expense. The insured is represented, and the building exposure is over $150,000 and/or very unusual or complex circumstances exist.
(SEGA): $130/hour, plus actual incurred expenses. Appraisal Representation / Umpire / Mediations / Expert Testimony / In-house file auditing
** EXPENSE **:
Mileage will be charged as incurred @ 58.5 cents per mile, based upon our closest advertised location. Any other expenses will be charged based upon our incurred amount, which will be backed up with support for each charge for your file.
